RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,200 lives since 1824 but they’re more than a rescue service. They influence, supervise and educate people too. There are over 350 lifeboats in the RNLI fleet based at their stations around the UK and they cover 19,000 miles of coastline and some busy inland stretches of water.

Based in Fakenham, they offer canoeing and kayaking to all ages and abilities. They provide a safe, fun and friendly environment in which to learn and have equipment anyone can use and qualified instructors to help you get to grips with the fundamental skills. The club is also great for meeting like minded people. They organise river trips and occasionally special 'come and try it' sessions for newcomers.
