The 2010 Norfolk Superhero Challenge Committee Organisers are thrilled to announce that they raised a staggering £20,000 for EACH! This does NOT include your individual efforts. By our calculations the entire event raised over £50,000 for charity.
We are currently reviewing our choice of charity for next year…. Watch this space.
EACH supports families throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs.
EACH is a registered children's charity (no.1069284) which relies on public support for the majority of their required income (around £5.8 million) - voluntary income and your support is absolutely vital.
Walking with the Wounded is a record-breaking expedition. It aims to be the first unsupported polar expedition to get an amputee to the North Pole. The team is made up of a number of wounded servicemen from the Army and Royal Marines.
The expedition hopes to raise the profile of Britain’s wounded men and women and to raise money for their re-training and re-skilling to assist them in the transition from the military into the corporate world, a move many of them wouldn’t have chosen to make prior to receiving life changing injuries. The expedition will show the extraordinary courage and determination of these young men and women, and will hopefully also act as an inspiration for those who have been wounded and are finding it hard to come to terms with their injuries.
